Welcome involvement fair attendees!

Are you a new member that just found yourself here for the first time? If so (or even if not), welcome! As you can tell, we haven't done much with this site yet, but you could certainly help by introducing yourself and getting some brainstorming started! We've already got some plans, but we really want to be doing things that other people can get into, and the only way we can figure that out is if you tell us! Share ideas for events, tips for people's personal lives, changes that can be implimented on campus...anything to get us doing more work with fewer resources! And, of course, if you had a memorable interaction with us at the SfS booth or anybody at the involvement fair, feel free to share it with us, as well as any pictures you may have taken!

Let the sustaining begin!!!

  1. How about a "bike pool" of some sort. Students that have to get to class at the same time could meet at a designated spot, or spots along other's routs at certain times and bike to FRCC together - accountability and community, pretty cool. I bet I would bike more often if I had some more motivation. If there are others leaving to campus at 8:30 or 9:30am either from Old town or south of there I would be all for it!

  2. Hey!
I just wanted to mention that the Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living Fair needs more volunteers! (about 240 of them!) This is a great way to get involved... just google the fair, click on the site, and then click volunteer and you can get registered! The fair will be next weekend. Even if you can't volunteer, you ought to come! It's going to be a whole lot of fun, with good people, beer, speakers, bands, art, and everything in between!!! Let me know if you need more details!!!
